Progressive Muscle Relaxation by Breathe Birth Yoga
Today I’m sharing with you a progressive muscle relaxation. I sometimes use this during my pregnancy yoga class savasana, but everyone, pregnant or not will benefit. Sometimes people think yoga is all about movement; the asanas, but in fact yoga involves stillness of mind and body with. I used to find savasana the hardest asana of all, being still isn’t in my nature and it took some practice, but now I love my quiet, still practice, relaxing my muscles and my mind. It can feel rejuvenating, relaxing, energising and calming. It’s also a wonderful route into starting a meditation practice.
